Dear September attempt to make the web store as secure as we can possibly make it. We use Eway, one of Australia's leading payment processors. All personal and payment information is encrypted and securely processed. None of your personal information is stored or shared. Email addresses collected by Dear September are for internal use only, we will only use this personal information to keep you informed of our special events or promotions, we respect your privacy but if you would like to unsubscribe from our email list please contact us via the ‘contact us’ page. We will remove your name from our email list as soon as possible.
 
PRICES
All prices on the Dear September website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Australian GST of 10%. Please note that delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted for each product. 
We accept payment by PayPal and credit card.
 
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
We use regular Australia Post & shipping is flat rate $10.00 (excludes QLD, WA, SA and NT which $14.00 flat rate). If you are in the area you can also choose to 'collect in store', this option can be selected at checkout. Orders that are 'collect in store' but be collected within 5 days. 
 
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES DEAR SEPTEMBER ACCEPT?
Credit & debit cards, Paypal. Unfortunately we do not accept AMEX.
 
HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
Delivery time across Australia is generally between 3 - 4 days. We ship from our head office in Sydney, so orders to Western Australia, North Queensland and the Northern Territory may on occasion take longer than 4-5 days.

*Please note that during holiday periods and on public holidays orders will take longer to arrive. We send via regular Australia post so the demand at peak times can cause delays. This is out of our hands and we cannot be held responsible.

Order processing time is 2-3 days.

REDEEMING A GIFT CARD
Head to the website (www.dearseptember.com.au) and select the items you wish to purchase. When you're ready to checkout, proceed through to checkout to the payment page. Enter your Gift Card code (codes are case sensitive) in the discount/promo code box on Payment page and click apply.
 
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ONLINE GIFT CARDS
If the amount of your Gift Card does NOT cover the total purchase amount, you will need to pay for the remainder of the purchase using one of our payment methods. Gift Cards are non-transferable, non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. We cannot replace lost or stolen Gift Cards.
 
RETURNS
Dear September's will happily offer you an exchange within 5 days of receiving your order if you change your mind. You can also select to receive a gift card for the amount of your purchase excluding shipping, if you wish to purchase at a later date. You have the right to open the package and check the contents but the product must be returned unused, and all original packaging otherwise we will be unable issue you with an exchange. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the safe delivery of any returns back to Dear September. We suggest shipping with insurance and tracking. Please keep in mind that a lot of the products available at Dear September are handmade therefore colours and patterns etc may vary from piece to piece, adding to their uniqueness. Product colours may vary slightly from those in the images provided due to photographic lighting.
 
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN
Contact Dear September and request a return authorisation number. You must package the return carefully and ensure all original packaging and instructions are included in the shipment, as Dear September can not accept returns without original packaging. All return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer, and we suggest using tracking and insurance. Complete the returns form issued by Dear September and ship to the address noted on the returns form. Dear September will refund your payment upon receipt of the goods and inspection of their condition. Refunds are always made in the manner of the original purchase, for example, credit card payments will have refunds placed on the same card.
 
DAMAGED ITEMS
Please contact us as soon as you notice a fault with any Dear September item after arrival. Our contact information is on the ‘contact us’ page.
